Community Theatre
The Community Theatre group aims to provide adults over the age of 18 with the opportunity to work alongside professional theatre staff to perform “top quality” work on the Palace Theatre stage.
Plays will often have a local community theme or interest and range from amateur texts, commissioned work and set works. Rehearsals usually start in May or June of each year, with a September or October performance. Rehearsals are currently Wednesday evenings 6pm - 8.30pm and Saturday mornings 10am - 12.30pm.
The Community Theatre project continually seeks sponsorship; any companies interested should telephone the Andrew Tucker on 01623 412950.
